Bribing your dog with food or forcing them will not work. You need your dog
to understand and respond to what you are saying.
All of the following suggestions are given to you as guidelines to use. Our
goal is to inform and help you with all your dog-related needs. The guidelines
given may take some time to implement into how you do things with your dog.
As a certified dog trainer, we are here to show you how to get the appropriate
results.
You should
try and maintain a daily feeding schedule. Leave the food down for only
30 minutes the same time everyday.
Greeting
of friends, strangers, or other dogs should be done only when you are
there to make sure that it takes place in a positive way.
Always
make time to play with your dog. You should be the one that starts and
stops the playtime. Have all activities that you do with your dog end
on a positive note
DO NOT
repeat commands over and over; always enforce the command that was given.
DO NOT repeat sit! Sit! Sit! Sit!
Never get
louder and louder when giving commands always be calm and assertive.
Do not
bend over or come down to the dogs level when giving commands as the pack
leader you should never come down to there level otherwise you are telling
the dog that you are equals.
Never hit
or yell at your dog. Doing this will only make a situation worse and can
cause more issues.

Bribing your dog with food treats, or toys will not work. If a dog will not come when called what will happen if he / she runs out in the road? Bribing is never the answer. All dogs
will appreciate your love and praise for a job well done rather than receiving a bribe. Bribing does not teach a dog how to do a command it only teaches them to do what you want to get something out of it. You need to get your dog to cooperate and understand to have a successful outcome.
